densities, high food inputs and other organic loads in Intensive aqua farming
stimulate the proliferation of opportunistic pathogens like bacteria, virus,
fungi and protozoa. Shrimp graze on the substrate present in the pond bottom and water
column, thus exposed to exchanges of micro flora between the environment and
the digestive system. This increases the risk for the proliferation of an
unfavourable gut micro flora which can affect the optimal functioning of the
digestive system, affecting the profitability of shrimp production.

Spring Gut - AQ is a unique product made of herbal extracts and Lactobacillus species for management of white gut disease. It contains anaerobic micro organisms which prevent growth of pathogenic microbes in the gut by denying their access to the normal gut lining and effectively fights Vibrio even after infestation in early stages by inactivating Vibrio toxin.
